Blake Shelton won “Favorite Album” award at the People’s Choice Awards.  Hard to believe, but that was the first time a country album has ever won Favorite Album Award at the People’s Choice Awards!

Blake Shelton beat out Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Drake and Beyoncé.  Nice!

“I’ve got a lot of people to thank. All the people that voted for me. Thank you so much,” Blake said in his acceptance speech, before shouting out his pop-star girlfriend. “And thanks the hottest date here tonight, Gwen Stefani, who is sitting out there.”

Blake also won Favorite Male Country Artist, while Carrie Underwood and Little Big Town won Favorite Female Country Artist and Favorite Country Group, respectively.
