Bad News For Colorado Avalanche Fans – Captain Gabriel Landeskog Won’t Return for Playoffs

Apr 13, 2023, 4:10 PM

The injury bug has bitten the Colorado Avalanche all season, and sadly the bite isn’t going to heal like many Av’s fans had hoped for the Playoffs.

With just two games to go in the regular season, the team made it official. Landeskog is done for the season, including the playoffs.

“Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog will not play in the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs due to a knee injury,” the organization said in a statement. “The 30-year-old forward has missed the entire 2022-23 regular season.”

Landeskog missed the entire season after helping the team to win the Stanley Cup last year. The road to repeating just got a whole lot harder!
