Depending on what part of town you live in, Albuquerque, New Mexico, is about a six-hour drive from Denver. So, here’s a unique investment opportunity not too far from home…
Last year, the “Breaking Bad“ house in Albuquerque hit the market for $4 million and failed to attract a buyer. Now, the asking price has been lowered to $400,000, which is the actual market value.
Apparently, someone convinced the owner that $4 million was a fair asking price, because whoever bought it could turn it into a tourist attraction – like a “Breaking Bad” museum – and make money off it.
Unfortunately, it’s in a residential neighborhood, and that would be against zoning laws.
Still, it’s pretty likely that the house will go for more than the $400,000 and the new owner could turn it into an Airbnb, which would probably attract fans of the show.
