In country music, it is customary for the headlining act to present the openers with an “end of tour” gift. Ashley Cooke revealed how she was initially surprised by the present she received from Luke Bryan back in 2023. Considering the “Country On” singer’s personality, one would expect the gift to be silly or over-the-top. However, according to Cooke, Bryan simply handed her an envelope. Thankfully, it was not a one-year subscription to the “Jelly of the Month Club,” it was actually a big wad of cash! As an up-and-coming artist, that was the no-nonsense gift that really made her day.

There is a saying in the music industry, “You have your whole life to write your first album and only six months to write your second.” Zach Top was certainly feeling that pressure with his latest release, “Ain’t In It For My Health.” The fifteen-song project maintains the traditional country sound that Top is known for and features the single, “Good Times and Tan Lines.” Even though Top was extremely nervous about releasing his sophomore album, he admits the recording process went so well, deep down, he’s confident fans will love it.
