Artists come together to remember Patsy Cline | Music City Minute

May 1, 2024, 2:31 PM | Updated: 2:35 pm

It’s been over sixty years since Patsy Cline passed away at the age of thirty in a tragic plane crash. However, her music and legacy have inspired artists and fans alike for generations. Recently, a few of those artists who just happen to have some of the most powerful voices in music gathered at the Ryman Auditorium to honor Cline. The show was called, “Walkin’ After Midnight, The Music of Patsy Cline.” Some of the big-name artists on the bill were Crystal Gayle, Hailey Whitters, Kellie Pickler and Kristin Chenoweth. Ashley McBryde performed “Leavin’ On Your Mind” and Wynonna Judd delivered a powerful rendition of “Sweet Dreams (Of You).” Videos of the night have made their way online, and it’s hard to not get emotional while watching them.
I’m Sheena and that’s your Music City Minute.
