Artist-specific Nashville bar quietly closes its doors | Music City Minute

May 7, 2024, 3:27 PM | Updated: 3:29 pm

One of the first ultra-modern, artist-specific bars on Lower Broadway in Nashville quietly closed its doors for good. Back in 2018, Florida Georgia Line opened FGL House. At the time, you could count on one hand venues named after artists, including John Rich, Alan Jackson and Dierks Bentley. Fast forward to today — fans trying to visit FGL House are greeted with a “permanently closed” banner on the door. No official reason for the closure has been given. Although, we could speculate that the venue was another casualty linked to the band’s breakup. Interestingly, the management company behind FGL House, TC Restaurant Group, also manages venues for Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean, Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs. It’s rumored the same management company inked a deal with Lainey Wilson to help open her own hotspot on the Honkey Tonk Highway. Possibly in the same space formally occupied by FGL House.
