Apartment complex ‘overtaken’ by Venezuelan gangs is going up for sale

Sep 24, 2024, 4:31 PM | Updated: Sep 25, 2024, 8:41 am

By now the whole world has heard about Venezuelan gangs “taking over” apartments in Aurora, Colorado. Well, the trouble complex at the center of it all is soon going to be on the market…

Last month Aurora officials boarded up the Aspen Grove and evicted roughly 300 people, citing health and safety issues.

Located at 1568 Nome St. in Aurora, the 99-unit complex near the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, was last purchased in 2019 for $12,375,000.

This time there will be no list price, but instead the real estate services firm selling the property will “let the market speak.”

There is no word on when the property will be listed.
