Another Colorado Whataburger location is coming, but will they ever come to Denver?

Yet another Colorado Whataburger was announced this week, the state’s ninth, but still none in the Denver-area…

Fountain, Colorado, a suburb of Colorado Springs, will be home to the next Colorado Whataburger location. All of the nine Colorado locations are in that general area, with most in Colorado Springs, one in Pueblo, and one in Monument.

So, will they ever expand north into Denver? The short answer is, “who knows.” There are no current plans for a location in the Denver metro-area, but they have to be pretty close to running out of places to put them to the south, so if there was ever a time, it has to be soon, right?

Currently, the closest location to Denver is about 20 miles south of Castle Rock in Monument.

There’s no official word on when the new Fountain location will open.
