An Iconic Colorado Restaurant Just Closed It’s Only Denver Location

Jan 23, 2023, 5:17 PM

The restaurant business is tough, obviously, as countless staples throughout Colorado have closed up shop lately. A personal favorite of mine for years was hit by the closure bug this week as The Black-Eyed Pea closed it’s only Denver location.

The restaurant, located on South Colorado Boulevard north of I25, permanently closed on Sunday.

The Colorado-based chain known for their chicken-fried steak and other southern comfort favorites, still has eight locations in Colorado, in Castle Rock, Colorado Springs, Englewood, Lakewood, Northglenn, Parker, Pueblo and Westminster.
