Amazon to hire 4,000 in Colorado for the holidays

If there is even a small employee discount for working at Amazon, most of us probably could save a fortune working for them…

Amazon said it plans to hire 4,000 workers in Colorado this holiday season, and 250,000 in the U.S.

The company said the 4,000 positions in Colorado includes 2,000 in the Denver-Aurora-Lakewood area and 1,000 in Colorado Springs in full-time, seasonal, and part-time roles across its operations network.

Amazon said the roles range from packing and picking to sorting and shipping and are open to applicants from all backgrounds and experience levels. Seasonal employees earn at least $18 per hour and have access to benefits like health care coverage from their first day of employment.

Amazon said many of its seasonal roles have the potential to transition into regular, full-time employment after the holidays. Approximately one-third of Amazon’s seasonal employees stay on year after year.

Interested applicants can go to Amazon.com/localjobs or text NEWJOB to 31432 to sign up for job alerts.
