Amazon Launches 1-Hour & 3-Hour Delivery

Amazon has started faster U.S. deliveries for a fee.
The charge for a three-hour delivery is $4.99 for Prime members and $14.99 for non-members.
The charge for a one-hour delivery is $9.99 for Prime members and $19.99 for non-members.
These services cover thousands of popular products and household essentials. More than 90,000 products are eligible for delivery in three hours or less.
Pantry staples, clothing, over-the-counter medications, cleaning supplies and electronics can all be delivered in the aforementioned time frames.
“Our customers are busier than ever and are looking for new ways to save time while keeping their households running. We saw an opportunity to use our unique operational expertise and delivery network to help make customers’ lives a little easier while unlocking even more value for Prime Members,” said Udit Madan, senior vice president of Worldwide Operations at Amazon, in a statement.
