All Hail King George!

Without King George, would there even be county music?
Okay, of course we’d still have country music but it wouldn’t be the same. For nearly 45 years, George Strait has been a central figure for the country music genre. And even though he’s a little older now, he continues to blow us away with his music!
King George’s latest project, Honky Tonk Time Machine has officially become his 27th No. 1 album! Honky Tonk Time Machine was released March 29 and it’s the most successful album of 2019 (so far).
George Strait performed two songs off the hit album at the Academy of Country Music Awards last Sunday – Every Little Honky Tonk Bar and God and Country Music.
Honky Tonk Time Machine is King George’s 30th studio album. He’s also the reigning champion of the Top Country Albums Chart with most No. 1 albums.
And that’s why he’s The King!
