Electronic Arts (EA Sports) unveiled its ratings for the upcoming Madden NFL 26 game, and you’ll hear a lot about the stars who have the highest ratings, but what about the guys at the bottom of the list? The Denver Broncos have one of those guys.
The lowest rated player on the team, and one of the lowest rated players on the game is quarterback Sam Ehlinger, the team’s third string quarterback. Ehlinger has a 56 rating, which is only one point higher than Chiefs backup quarterback Chris Oladokun, who is rated at a game-low 55.
Ehlinger, a former Texas Longhorn, spent the first three years of his NFL career with the Colts, who drafted him in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Ehlinger received his most significant playing time in 2022, when he appeared in four games, including three starts. He completed 63.4 percent of his passes for 573 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions.
Other Broncos’ quarterbacks on the game are Bo Nix (79) and Jarrett Stidham (62).
The Broncos have two players who received overall ratings of 90 or higher on the game: Cornerback Pat Surtain II (97) and guard Quinn Meinerz (95).
Madden NFL 26 is slated for an Aug. 14 release date on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Windows and Xbox Series X/S.
