Boulder restaurant named best ‘Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives’ spot in Colorado

Guy Fieri’s Camaro has pulled up to a lot of Colorado restaurants over the years. Some of them are still standing. Some of them aren’t. But only one got crowned the best Triple D spot in the entire state, and it’s been slinging crêpes on Pearl Street for decades.

Tasting Table named Foolish Craig’s Cafe as Colorado’s top “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” restaurant in its 2026 state-by-state guide to the best Triple D destinations in America. The café beat out every other Colorado restaurant that has ever been featured on the show, including Boulder neighbors The Sink and Bohemian Biergarten, to represent the Centennial State in Flavortown.

Fieri originally visited Foolish Craig’s for the Season 11 episode “From Crêpes to Kreplach” back in 2011, where he fell for the café’s signature sweet and savory crêpes, house-baked bread and the item that apparently sealed the deal: the Butter Rum Caramel Crêpe Cake, which runs about $10 and pairs perfectly with a mimosa and zero regret. Located at 1611 Pearl Street in the heart of downtown Boulder, the independently owned café has built its following the old-fashioned way, made-from-scratch everything, a laid-back Pearl Street vibe and the kind of consistency that outlasts both food trends and a Guy Fieri appearance.

So the next time an out-of-towner asks where to eat in Colorado, skip the 45-minute debate and just send them to Pearl Street. Colorado’s official ambassador to Flavortown is waiting.
