Free coffee for 100 days? Here’s how to get it at Castle Rock’s new Dunkin’

Some people camp out for concert tickets or the new iPhone. In Castle Rock this weekend, the prize is coffee, and a lot of it. Dunkin’ is officially opening its newest “next generation” store Saturday, Oct. 24, and the first 100 people in line at 8 a.m. will get free coffee for 100 days.
Here’s how it works. The 100 winners each get a promo code for a free medium hot or iced coffee every day for 100 straight days through the Dunkin’ Rewards app. It’s free and you don’t have to buy anything, but there are a few rules. You need a Dunkin’ Rewards account, you have to enter the code the same day you get it, and the deal doesn’t cover cold brew, nitro cold brew or espresso drinks. Do the math and that’s free coffee from late October through about the end of January, which covers the colder months when you need it most.
The grand opening party runs from 8 to 10 a.m. Expect a prize wheel with Dunkin’ merch, a visit from Dunkin’s mascot Cuppy, and a ribbon-cutting at 9 a.m. The store is in the Founders Marketplace center near Founders Parkway and Highway 86. It’s open every day from 4 a.m. to 8 p.m., with a mobile-order pickup area and curbside spots. If you can’t wait until Saturday, the store is already soft-opening Thursday and Friday.
Our advice: get there early. The store opens at 4 a.m., and Dunkin’ hasn’t said when the line can start forming. Bring a camp chair, a warm jacket and maybe a thermos of coffee to hold you over. It’s a little ironic, but it’ll pay off for 100 days.
