Turnpike Troubadours announce two Red Rocks shows for May 2027

Colorado has two new reasons to look forward to next spring. Turnpike Troubadours are returning to Red Rocks Amphitheatre for back-to-back headlining shows on Thursday, May 13, and Friday, May 14, 2027. Amble and Wade Forster will open both nights.
If you’ve been to a Turnpike show at Red Rocks, you know why fans buy tickets for both nights. The Oklahoma band helped build the Red Dirt scene and has a fan base that sings every word of “Diamonds & Gasoline,” usually holding a beer. Red Rocks has also played a big part in the band’s comeback. When Turnpike reunited after a long break, the band picked Red Rocks for its big return show in May 2022.They came back for two more nights in May 2025. The 2027 shows keep that tradition going.
The band has come a long way since its 2005 debut. It has more than 2.2 billion streams, appeared on “Yellowstone” and was inducted into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame. The lineup includes Evan Felker on vocals and guitar, Kyle Nix on fiddle, Ryan Engleman on electric guitar, RC Edwards on bass, Gabe Pearson on drums and Hank Early on steel and accordion. Expect plenty of fiddle echoing off the rocks.
Set your alarms. The presale starts Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 10 a.m., and tickets go on sale to everyone Friday, Oct. 23, at 10 a.m. through AXS. Turnpike shows at Red Rocks tend to sell fast, so have your login ready and your fingers stretched. Both shows start at 7 p.m.
