Banana Ball is coming back to Coors Field in Denver in 2027, but without the Bananas

Denver is going bananas again… Sort of. Banana Ball, the circus-style version of baseball that has sold out stadiums across the country, is coming back to Coors Field for two games on Saturday, May 29, and Sunday, May 30, 2027. This time the Savannah Bananas are skipping Denver. The Party Animals will take on the Loco Beach Coconuts.
It’ll be the third straight year of Banana Ball at Coors Field. The Savannah Bananas played the Firefighters in 2025, then came back in August 2026 to play the Indianapolis Clowns in front of sellout crowds. That series included a surprise performance by “Frozen” star Kristen Bell. The Party Animals are known for backflips and dance-offs, and the Coconuts bring beach-party energy, so plan on a lot of yellow and plenty of chaos.
If you’ve never been, Banana Ball is the opposite of a three-hour pitchers’ duel. Games have a two-hour time limit. Fans can catch foul balls for outs. Teams win on points, not runs, and there are 11 rules designed to keep things moving. It might be the most fun you’ll ever have at Coors Field in May, no matter how the Rockies’ season is going.
Getting tickets takes a little luck. Fans have to join the Banana Ball ticket lottery by Saturday, Oct. 31, at 9:59 p.m. Mountain Time for a chance to buy seats. Standard tickets start at $35, and meet-and-greet packages start at $150. Joining the list doesn’t guarantee you a ticket, and Rockies full-season ticket holders get an exclusive presale. Set a reminder, because Halloween night is the deadline.
