Auctioneers will be hoping the Force is strong with Darth Vader’s lightsaber, as it will be going on auction, starting at $1,000,000!
The auction company Heritage Auction will be featuring several pieces of “Star Wars” memorabilia, including the lightsaber that Darth Vader used in “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back” and “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.” This is the same lightsaber that Darth Vader used in the classic “Luke, I am your father” scene that left Luke Skywalker missing a hand.
That very lightsaber has previously sold for $3.65 million.
Several other “Star Wars” items will be on auction as well including a Boba Fett blaster and a screenplay signed by C-3P0 actor Anthony Daniels.
