Avalanche Western Conference Finals schedule released

A historic collapse, an all-time goal, and a moment that will live on in Denver sports history have earned the Colorado Avalanche a well-deserved week off.
After a wild Wednesday night at Ball Arena for Game 5, the Avs have punched their ticket to the Western Conference Finals, and we now know when they’ll be back on the ice.
The Avalanche will face the Vegas Golden Knights starting Wednesday, May 20, for a chance at a trip to the Stanley Cup Finals. The two teams have met once before in the postseason in 2021, when Colorado jumped out to a 2-0 series lead before Vegas rattled off four straight wins to take the series. This will be the second all-time playoff meeting between the franchises, with the Avalanche looking for a bit of revenge for that 2021 elimination.
The long week off could prove to be invaluable for the Avalanche as they look to recover from a handful of injuries to key players, including Cale Makar, Artturi Lehkonen, and Sam Malinski, before the series gets started on Wednesday.
Here’s the full schedule for the Avalanche in the Western Conference Finals:
