The Broncos opening the season on the road against the Kansas City Chiefs might be a blessing in disguise for the Broncos. Obviously the Broncos won the AFC West for the first time since Peyton Manning was throwing touchdowns for the orange and blue.
Playing Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce right out of the gate means there’s a good chance that the team is sill trying to figure themselves out with new players. It also lowers the chances of the Broncos having to play in really bad weather in Kansas City.
Another thing that stood out was the Broncos having to play on Christmas Day. Last year, the Broncos played on Christmas and beat the Chiefs 20-13.
This year, the Broncos are going to have a rematch against the Buffalo Bills after the Broncos took down Buffalo in the playoffs.
It’s also been made official that the Broncos will not be traveling overseas this season which means we don’t have to wake up at 7 a.m. to watch a football game.
The Broncos will play in three primetime (night) games this season. Denver also has to be excited with their bye week coming in Week 10 which is almost dead center of the entire season.
The Broncos will also play the defending Super Bowl champion, Seahawks and that will be played on Thursday Night Football at Mile High.
In 2024, Broncos head coach Sean Payton made the team stay on the east coast for back-to-back games. This year it seems unlikely that will happen again unless he keeps his team on the west coast in California when they take on the 49ers and Chargers in back-to-back weeks.
After taking a look at the schedule, you make the prediction. Are the Broncos going to make another run to the Super Bowl?
