A-Basin extends the season for one more weekend

Don’t stash away those skis just yet! Arapahoe Basin is squeezing out one more weekend.

A-Basin just pushed its closing date from May 3 to May 10 after picking up 14 inches of fresh snow over the past week. That bonus weekend also makes it Colorado’s last ski area still turning lifts this season.

The Basin will be closed Monday through Thursday, then reopen Friday through Sunday for one final lap. Black Mountain Express and Lenawee Express will be spinning, but fair warning: there’s no beginner terrain available right now.
