Rough Night in Minnesota: Nuggets Fall 113-96

Just after 3 PM, it was announced that the Denver Nuggets would be without Aaron Gordon, and it didn’t take long to see the impact.
Denver came out flat, scoring just 11 points in the first quarter while shooting a rough 14% from the field. That slow start set the tone early, as the Minnesota Timberwolves jumped out to a 25–11 lead after one. The Nuggets would ultimately fall to the Timberwolves 1-0
The struggles didn’t stop there.
Minnesota’s defense continued to cause problems all night, forcing tough shots, creating confusion, and frustrating the Nuggets offensively. At one point, the Timberwolves stretched their lead to 27, putting the game well out of reach.
One of the few bright spots for Denver came from Zeke Nnaji, who provided a spark off the bench in the second quarter with six quick points.
On the other side, Anthony Edwards, who entered the game questionable with a knee injury, left early in the fourth quarter, exiting with just over six minutes remaining.
Now down, the Nuggets will look to bounce back in Game 4 on Saturday afternoon in Minneapolis, with tipoff set for 6:30 PM on ESPN.
