Here’s why IN-N-OUT mobile ordering will never happen

Do you love In-N-Out? If you’re hoping to skip the drive-thru line with a tap on your phone, you are out of luck.
CEO Lynsi Snyder-Ellingson said flatly that they will not adopt mobile ordering or app-based pickup — ever.
“Part of what makes In-N-Out and the experience so special is the interaction and the customer service that we’re able to give — the smile, the greeting. … The mobile ordering will definitely take a piece of that away and there’s also the freshness factor.”
With new locations coming to Broomfield and Denver (YAY), they won’t come with the digital bells and whistles like McDonald’s and Chick-fil-A have embraced. In-N-Out has never partnered with delivery apps and once sued DoorDash for delivering its food without permission. Savage.
So for now, if you want a Double-Double in Denver, you’ll have to order it the old-fashioned way.
