Paxton Lynch will forever be known as one of the biggest Draft busts in the history of the Denver Broncos, but his time as a quarterback in Denver is actually not over…
The Broncos took Lynch with the No. 26 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. He started two games as a rookie and completed only 59% of his passes for two touchdowns with one interception. He went 0-2 as a starter in 2017 with three interceptions and two touchdowns. That was it.
The former first-round Draft pick recently made his debut for the Colorado Spartans of The National Arena League. In his first game with the team based in Denver he completed 20 of his 32 pass attempts for 220 yards with three touchdowns and an interception during his arena football debut. The Spartans lost 56-45.
The Spartans will play their first home game of the season at the Denver Coliseum on April 11th. Grab tickets here.
Here’s a little snippet of Lynch doing his thing…
