Blood Moon and last total lunar eclipse till 2029 is tonight
Mar 2, 2026, 11:20 AM
You’ll want to set your alarms early if you want to see a total lunar eclipse, as tonight/tomorrow morning will be the last one until 2029!
The eclipse cycle is as follows:
2:50am – Partial Eclipse begins
4:04am – Total Eclipse begins
4:33am – Maximum darkness
5:02am – Total eclipse ends
6:17am – Partial eclipse ends
Denver will not see another total lunar eclipse until June 2029.
This will also give the moon a copper hue giving it the name “blood moon”.
Currently forecasts show that Denver should have clear skies for a good look at the eclipse.
