Aldi announces plan to open 50 stores in Colorado over next two years

Aldi is officially coming to Colorado!
After years of speculation whether the German-owned grocer would make its way to Colorado, Aldi has announced they will be coming to Colorado with over 50 stores set to open in the first two years.
This year, Aldi is celebrating its 50th anniversary and has big expansion plans with over 180 stores planned across 31 states.
Other locations Aldi is planning on expanding to includes Maine, Phoenix and Las Vegas.
In addition to the new grocery store, Aldi is planning on opening a distribution center in Aurora.
