Broncos Win 11 Straight!

Dec 14, 2025, 5:44 PM

Denver got off to a slow start, trailing 3–0 at the end of the first quarter, but the offense began to find its rhythm in the second. The Broncos took their first lead following a 14-play, 70-yard drive, capped off by a 20-yard touchdown pass from Bo Nix to Bandy, who was elevated from the practice squad for today’s game.

Green Bay answered with a 14-yard touchdown pass to Josh Jacobs, but the Broncos responded immediately. Nix led a quick five-play drive, finishing it with a 5-yard touchdown strike to Humphrey. The Packers added a late field goal, sending Denver into halftime trailing 16–14.

The Packers struck first in the third quarter when Josh Jacobs ripped off a 40-yard rushing touchdown, extending the lead to 23–14. Denver answered right back. Pat Surtain II came up with a momentum-changing interception, which the offense quickly turned into points on a 14-yard touchdown pass from Nix to Courtland Sutton. The Broncos weren’t done, adding a 23-yard completion to Troy Franklin as time expired in the third quarter to keep the pressure on heading into the fourth.

In the fourth quarter, Green Bay suffered a major blow, losing star pass rusher Micah Parsons to a knee injury. The Packers still managed to add a field goal, cutting Denver’s lead to just one point.

Facing a critical moment midway through the fourth, the Broncos took a gamble on 4th-and-3 with just over nine minutes to play. Nix delivered, connecting with Sutton on a 26-yard completion to move Denver deep into the red zone. The drive was capped by a 4-yard rushing touchdown from RJ Harvey, pushing the Broncos back in front 34–26.

On the very next possession, the Broncos defense came up big once again, as Riley Moss intercepted a tipped pass, giving Denver the ball back and adding to the growing momentum at Mile High. That momentum stalled quickly, however, as the Broncos elected to go for it again on 4th-and-3 from the Green Bay 45, turning the ball over on downs after an incomplete pass.

Green Bay took over with just over five minutes remaining, but the Broncos defense rose to the occasion. Facing 4th-and-10, Denver pressured Jordan Love, recording a massive sack to force another turnover on downs.

The Broncos offense once again took a risk, going for it on 4th-and-1, but were stopped, giving the Packers the ball back at their own 40-yard line, trailing by eight with just over one minute to play.

With the game on the line, the Broncos defense delivered one final stop, shutting down Green Bay on 4th down to seal the win and extend Denver’s streak to 11 straight victories, tying the franchise record for most consecutive wins.

Next up, the Broncos return home to face the Jacksonville Jaguars next Sunday, looking to make history at Mile High.
