Bears breaking into homes in Colorado is not rare, but the same one breaking into the same house twice in the same night has to be some sort of record, right?
A black bear broke into the same house in Boulder twice early Wednesday morning (Nov. 5).
The resident said that the bear had been breaking into her car in the weeks prior, but this time the bear broke into her home through the porch’s sliding doors at around 1 a.m. on Wednesday.
The two residents of the home crawled out a window and ran to a car. They called the police. When the police arrived, they yelled at the bear and it ran away.
However, the bear returned a few hours later and ransacked the kitchen. The residents banged on the walls and screamed until the bear fled from the house for good this time.
The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office shared a video of the incident on Facebook.
