Colorado’s first two-star Michelin restaurant costs two people over $400 without drinks

The 2025 Michelin Guide has been released, with restaurants receiving stars, regarded as the highest honor in the food industry. One Colorado restaurant earned two Michelin Stars, the first Colorado restaurant to do so. But before you go, know that it’s not going to be cheap!

The Wolf’s Tailor at 4058 Tejon St. in Denver is the restaurant that got the state’s first honor. “Offering a seamless dining experience as intriguing as its name, this comfortable haven blends together creativity, attention to detail and charm,” an anonymous Michelin inspector said in its review.

Not to take anything away from the restaurant and this extremely high honor, but it may not be for everyone, especially those on a budget. The tasting menu (the only option) at the Wolf’s Tailor costs $160 per person with an additional 22 percent “fair labor and wellness fee” added to every bill in place of tipping. So, two people eating dinner with all taxes and fees will cost a minimum of $429, not including drinks of any kind.

We’ll start saving our pennies now…
