Denver’s Water World is only for dogs on September 6th

Sep 3, 2025, 4:19 PM

Either your dog loves the water or hates it, but for the ones that love it, this weekend is pretty cool in Denver! On Saturday (Sept. 6) Water World is hosting its annual Bow Wow Beach Doggie Day where the park is open for your pup’s water enjoyment.

Denver’s biggest water park closed for the season last weekend, but each year they reopen so that dogs of all sizes can come splash, swim, and play in Water World’s pools.

A portion of each ticket directly benefits Riverdale Animal Shelter, supporting their services for people and pets in Adams County! Your purchase helps find homes for over 7,600 animals each year as well as provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics.

Thunder Bay, Cowabunga Beach, and Turtle Bay will be open to play.

Humans are not permitted in the water at any time.
