Just hours later, it would be revealed that the talk show host’s ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, had passed away. A family representative confirmed the former talent manager had succumbed to cancer after a tough three-year battle. The 48-year-old spent his last peaceful moments surrounded by family. Blackstock and the “American Idol” alum share two children together, 11-year-old River and 9-year-old Remi.
