Country legend recruited by Mötley Crüe, Randy Hauser’s family rocks out together | Music City Minute

Jun 20, 2025, 4:56 PM

Here is a collaboration I didn’t see coming, but fully support – Mötley Crüe and Dolly Parton got together to record a new version of “Home Sweet Home.” The remastered, easily recognizable tune will appear on Crüe’s latest compilation album “From The Beginning,” which is set to drop September 19. This isn’t the first time the rocking hair-band has recruited a country singer to revamp the song. A version of “Home Sweet Home” featuring Justin Moore was released back in 2014.
Last year, when Randy Hauser played Red Rocks, he brought out his five-year-old son Huck to perform Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down.” It turns out little Huckleberry is a big fan of rock ‘n’ roll. According to Hauser, his kiddo’s guitar hero is Angus Young of AC/DC. So, when Randy and his wife found out that AC/DC were going to be coming through Nashville, they took the opportunity to see classic rock band live. Huck even dressed up in a schoolboy uniform similar to Angus’ famous on stage get up.
