Morgan Wallen dropped his massive, 37-song “I’m the Problem” album today (May 16), and although we didn’t come close to getting the mentions that whiskey got on it, Colorado did get some love!
The track that gives Colorado the most mentions is the 28th on the album, “Nothin’ Left.” The chorus of the song reveals he’s holed up in the metaphorical cold isolation of Colorado, saying, “Nothin’ left there in the bottle. Nah it’s all up on my breath. Nothin’ left but Colorado. Kinda cold down in this bed. Nothin’ left at the end of the tunnel. Just some lonely nights ahead.” That chorus is repeated multiple times throughout the song, giving our state a ton of mentions.
The other song that mentions Colorado only does it once, and that song is “Whiskey in Reverse.” In one of the opening likes of the song Morgan sings, “Can’t blame it on Colorado.”
