Once one of the most popular clothing stores on the planet, Forever 21, will no longer exist after Thursday.
The clothing retailer filed for bankruptcy protection for a second time in March with plans to wind down the business with liquidation sales.
The company said in its bankruptcy filing that planned to complete all store closing sales on or before May 1.
The company operated five store locations in Colorado that will close after May 1. Here is a list of the Colorado stores:
- Broomfield – 51 West Flat Iron Crossing Drive
- Fort Collins – 215 E Foothills Pkwy.
- Littleton – 8501 West Bowles Ave.
- Lone Tree – 8557 Park Meadows Center Drive
- Thornton – 13801 Grant St.
The retailer’s locations outside of the U.S. are run by other licensees and are not included in the bankruptcy filing. International store locations and websites will continue operating as normal.
Authentic Brands Group owns the international intellectual property associated with the Forever 21 brand and may license the brand to other operators, F21OpCo said.
