Having a baseball team in Denver is a risk. Mother nature does her own thing in the spring and fall, and this weekend is evidence of that.
The Colorado Rockies game originally scheduled for Friday has been postponed due to inclement weather.
The Rockies game with the Washington Nationals, originally set for 6:40 p.m. at Coors Field, has been moved to 6:10 p.m. Sunday, as the second game of a doubleheader, with Sunday’s 1:10 p.m. first pitch to be played as scheduled.
The Rockies said separate tickets will be required for each game on the doubleheader on Easter Sunday.
Additionally, Saturday’s first pitch has been moved back one hour from 1:10 p.m. to 2:10 p.m.
The Rockies will unveil their City Connect 2.0 uniforms during the Sunday 6:10 p.m. game.
