Travis Hunter warns future NFL team, threatens to quit

According to an article in the Mirror US, Colorado Buffalos standout Travis Hunter is making it clear about his demands after he gets drafted by an NFL team.
Hunter, who excelled at both offense and defense in the college football ranks, wants to keep playing on both sides of the ball. In fact, he is demanding it, saying he will cease playing football is forced to give up one of his positions as wide receiver or cornerback.
Hunter remarked to CBS Sports, “It’s never playing football again,” adding, “”because I’ve been doing it my whole life, and I love being on the football field. I feel like I could dominate on each side of the ball, so I really enjoy doing it.”
While at Colorado, Hunter played 713 offensive snaps and 748 defensive snaps during the 2024 season. The Heisman Trophy winner had 96 catches, 1,258 yards and 15 touchdowns on the offensive side of the ball. Defensively, Hunter made 35 tackles and four interceptions.
