On Thursday, January 9, at noon, the streets of downtown Denver will be lined with boots, chaps and cowboy hats to celebrate the start of Stock Show with the highly-anticipated Stock Show Kick-Off Parade to launch the iconic 119-year-old Colorado tradition.

The historic Stock Show Kick-Off Parade will trot through the streets of downtown Denver, led by longtime Colorado ambassador, chief meteorologist and avid equestrian Grand Marshal Kathy Sabine.

The 2025 National Western Stock Show doors open at 9 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, and remains open through Sunday, January 26. The annual western lifestyle event will host nearly 30 professional rodeo performances including Ranch Rodeo, Mexican Rodeo Extravaganza, presented by Hutchison Western and Chevron, PBR Bull Riding and MLK Jr. African American Heritage Rodeo. The schedule includes world-class horse shows and the infamous “Super Bowl” of livestock shows, when grand champion livestock will be crowned.

The NW Complex grounds transform into a western wonderland, offering acres of shopping, dining and libations. Highlights include the legendary Coors Cowboy Bar in the lower barns of the Expo Hall, the Chevy truck display in the Hall of Education and the always-popular petting farm, presented by King Soopers. With over 300 events and activities on the schedule, there’s something for everyone.

The Stock Show draws attendees from all 50 states and 30 countries, contributing $171 million economic impact in the Denver metro area during the 16-day event. A 501(c)(3) non-profit, the event supports the National Western Scholarship Trust, which awards more than 100 scholarships and over $550,000 annually to students pursuing careers in agriculture, rural medicine and veterinary sciences.
