Where to trick-or-treat this weekend in Colorado

There will be plenty of places to take the kiddos this weekend to trick-or-treat before Halloween next week. Below are some locations on where to attend.

Aurora: Town Center at Aurora’s Boo & Brew Candy Crawl is back at 12 p.m. on Saturday. There will be trick or treating, carnival-style games, and a Halloween costume contest.

Arvada Trick or Treat Street: The Olde Town Arvada tradition is back Friday at 5 p.m. The event is free and costume contests judging will take place in the square from 5 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.

Castle Rock: Outlets at Castle Rock host its Boo Bash will be held on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. First responders will be handing out treats while a Halloween scavenger hunt will happen. Photo opportunities will be available along with treats. There will also be a selfie station and as well as a limo contest.

Denver: The Children’s Museum will host a festival with pumpkins and straw bales. The Harvest Hoot offers games, crafts, the Rocky Mountain Mini Train, and a monster carnival. It all goes down Friday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Elizabeth: The annual Trick or Treat Street and Harvest Festival will be held on Saturday. There will be activities, vendors and trick or treating. It all goes down on Historic Main Street. It will be held at 10:00 am – 3:30 pm and it’s free for

Erie: Trick or Treat in downtown Erie will host Halloween costume contests with a small fee. There will also be live music on Saturday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. It’s free for all ages. 

Firestone: Firestone Police Department will once again host its yearly Halloween Safe Night this Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Firestone Regional Sports Complex. There will be a trunk or treat line, a trackless train, inflatables and a food truck.

Greeley: Downtown Greeley’s Trick or Treat Street is will be held Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Stores will be giving away treats and pumpkin decorating will take place on 8th Street.

Lakewood: Downtown Lakewood’s annual Halloween event BooMar  will begin at 12 p.m. Saturday. Bring the youngsters because there will be games and trick-or-treating at certain stores. The costume parade will begin at 12:30 p.m. There will be a slime making station, face painting, bouncy houses, food stations, and hay rides. 

Longmont: This will be the 45th annual Halloween Parade & Trick or Treat Street that begins Saturday at 10 a.m. A parade will start at Roosevelt Park. Everyone is encouraged to dress in costumes, march down Main Street and visit downtown merchants for Trick or Treat Street after the parade.
