Forbes 400 list reveals wealthiest people in Colorado

Oct 2, 2024, 2:41 PM | Updated: 8:08 pm

As reported on Fox 31 Denver, Forbes just released their wealthiest 400 list on Tuesday. While the entire list is worth $5.4 trillion, it showed several folks here in Colorado that are multi-billionaires.

Four Coloradans, in fact, made the Forbes 400 list. Those four were Philip Anschutz with a net worth of $16.9 billion, John Malone ($10.7 billion), Mark Stevens ($8.3 billion) and Pat Stryker ($3.9 billion).

As Colorado’s wealthiest person, Anschutz is the name behind many entertainment and sports outlets that you’re familiar with. He owns AEG Presents and AXS Ticketing, as well as, the Los Angeles Kings (NHL), the Los Angeles Galaxy (MLS) in addition to being a founding investor in the soccer league, Crypto.com Arena in LA (formerly Staples Center), the O2 Arena in London, the Broadmoor Resort in Colorado Springs and many more. The multi-billionaire also has held significant stakes in Union Pacific Railroad and Regal Entertainment Group.

While Stan Kroenke is on the list (owner of the Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Rapids, and LA Rams), he is primarily a resident of Texas.

In addition to the four above who made the wealthiest 400 list, Colorado is home to 35 centi-millionaires – people worth $100 million or more.
