Yet another legendary Denver restaurant will soon be closing it’s doors…

After nearly twenty years on East Colfax, Steve’s Snappin’ Dogs is set to close on October 19.

The restaurant that opened in 2006 in a renovated gas station at 3525 East Colfax Avenue is known for their trademark all-meat, no-filler Thumann’s dogs, shipped in from New Jersey.

The hot dogs are so good it was even featured on the Travel Channel’s show, “Food Paradise” in 2018.

Now there’s a large “store closing” sign hanging on the front of the building and a handwritten a sign on the door that says, “Our super staff, Linda and I thank all of you, our great guests, for a great twenty years.”

The good news for now is that Steve’s Snappin’ Dogs has an outpost at Denver International Airport, which remain open for at least the next eighteen months and up to two years.
