Elle King opens up about health struggles | Music City Minute

Elle King was a recent guest on Bunnie XO’s “Dumb Blonde” podcast, where she opened up about her life following her disastrous performance at the Grand Ole Opry. The “Ex’s and Oh’s” singer confirmed she is sober and working on a healthier lifestyle. She also admitted that, as a child, she was diagnosed with OCD and Tourette’s syndrome. This manifested into compulsive eating when she was younger. Then, as she got older, she started using non-prescription substances to tone down the tics. However, now that she is sober, her tics have become more apparent, and it’s one of the reasons we see her fidget a lot. Elle also does a deep dive on her family dynamics, especially growing up with dad Rob Schneider. All in all, it sounds like Elle in a good place and is cleansing herself mentally and physically.
