Miranda Lambert suffers losses | Music City Minute

Miranda Lambert has shared heartbreaking news with fans. In the last six weeks, two of the best and most loyal friends she ever had “left this earth.” Those “gal pals,” as she calls them, were Delta Dawn, a pug/chihuahua mix and Louise, a Great Pyrenees. In the emotional updates, she gave some background on the dogs. Miranda rescued Delta Dawn after she was found abandoned at a fast food restaurant in Oklahoma. A few years later, the “Wranglers” singer rescued Louise and her sister, Thelma, from a shelter. Lambert went on to thank her local vet for helping her feel as peaceful as possible sending her friends over the rainbow bridge. The devastated rescue mom said, “To love this big, you have to hurt just as big and they are worth it.”
