With the Denver Broncos trading for the Jets’ Zach Wilson and then drafting Bo Nix, all while still holding on to Jarrett Stidham, you had to see this coming…

The Broncos released veteran Ben DiNucci on Wednesday (May 8), DiNucci announced on social media.

DiNucci was signed by the Broncos at this time last year as he won a pro tryout at the team’s 2023 rookie minicamp. He played well in the preseason, completing 21 of 31 for 187 yards, 2 touchdowns and 0 interceptions in three games for an impressive 105.2 passer rating, but never saw the field in the regular season, and was only on the team’s practice squad.
