Someone found a live cat in a donated chair at a Denver thrift store

I am sure the good folks that work at thrift stores see crazy stuff donated all the time, but I bet they were still surprised by what was found in a chair in Denver recently.

A family recently donated a recliner chair to an Arc Thrift Store in the Denver area, but they didn’t realize in donating their chair they also donated their family pet.

The family’s cat, Montequlla, had nestled inside the donated recliner.

The family looked everywhere to find their pet, but to no avail… That is until a a worker at the Denver Arc Store stumbled upon the trapped kitty and promptly reached out to the Denver Animal Protection Shelter.

Thanks to Montequlla’s microchip, she was reunited with her family!
