Ashley Cooke Upgrades and Lainey Wilson’s Special Guest | Music City Minute

“Your Place” singer, Ashley Cooke, is leveling up in her career. She recently posted a picture standing in front of a tour bus. Pretty typical, right? Well, not for her. You see, the last three years, she and her band have been touring in a tiny van. Miss Ashley did reminisce about those times saying they made great memories together all while hoping, one day, they would get their own bus.  Well, as Penny Lane would say, “It’s all happening!” Now that the band has their new highfalutin bus; the next order of business is naming her. I’ll have to ask Miss Ashley what they landed on when she rolls into Fiddlers Green, June 9, for Birthday Bash 44.
It is so awesome to see Randy Travis supporting the next generation of country stars. Most recently, he lit up the stage in Thackerville, Oklahoma, during Miss Lainey Wilson’s show last Friday. She could barely contain her excitement as she helped bring Randy out center stage. Miss Lainey called Randy one of her heroes, one of the reasons she fell in love with country music and she’s honored to call Randy and his wife dear friends. I love seeing Papaw Randy – and of course Miss Lainey – living their best lives.
I’m Sheena and that’s your Music City Minute.
