Robert Plant and Alison Krauss are coming to Colorado

Feb 14, 2024, 10:51 AM

The Led Zeppelin front man Robert Plant and country singer Alison Krauss, as a duo, have been iconic in the Americana scene. And now, the pair will bring their “Can’t Let Go” tour to the brand new Sunset Amphitheater in Colorado Springs on August 31st.

Tickets for the show for the show go on sale this Friday at axs.com or sunsetamphitheater.live. You may also be able to get in on presale tickets, happening today, at plantkrauss.com.

Plant and Krauss mark the fourth show to be scheduled to the new venue, which boasts 8,000 seats and sits on the north side of Colorado Springs. Located on southeast of Interstate 25 and North Gate Boulevard in the Polaris Pointe development, the amphitheater will open this summer when they kick off with Colorado Springs’ own OneRepublic on August 9th.

Renowned British singer-songwriter Plant and Grammy Award-winning bluegrass country singer and violinist Krauss have joined forces on two albums over the years. Their first collaboration, “Raising Sand,” was released in 2007, while their most recent endeavor, “Raise the Roof,” debuted in 2021. These albums include beloved tracks such as “High and Lonesome” and “Going Where the Lonely Go.”

About the new Sunset Amphitheater:

Throughout the summer season, the amphitheater is set to present a minimum of 20 shows. The grand opening concert on August 9, headlined by the popular pop-rock band OneRepublic, has already sold out. On August 16, the iconic sixties surf band, The Beach Boys, will take the stage, followed by a performance from country singer Dierks Bentley on August 30. As the month progresses, new shows will be announced weekly, ensuring an exciting lineup for all.
