Happy National Bacon Day! Heres where you can get your bacon fix in Denver

As we celebrate our last weekend of 2023, today we also celebrate BACON with National Bacon Day! National Bacon Day was created in 1997, and while several of us celebrate bacon many more days than just today throughout the year, let it be an excuse for you to partake in the pork deliciousness at some local Denver restaurants.
While bacon can be found at 100’s of more locations, here are some of favorites around town:

- Bacon Social House – It says it right in the name! A social house for bacon! Their slogan is “Peace, Love, Bacon & More Bacon” and at their 3 locations they feature menu items such as their Baller Bacon and even an OMFG Signature Bacon Flight!

- Original Pancake House – You can find this breakfast classic at two locations around town including DTC and Cherry Hills (and one in Fort Collins). At OPH you will find what is called the Bacon Buster Breakfast with SEVEN slices of thick-cut honey-cured bacon! Click here for more info.

- Denver Biscuit Company – While they are known for their biscuits, you would be wise to try one of their offerings that include bacon because the biscuit and bacon combo is perfect at DBC! With several locations across the state we recommend the Franklin or the Lola which both include bacon! Click here for more info!

- Lazy Dog Restaurants – You’ll find several Lazy Dog restaurants across Colorado and while they have a huge menu with a bunch of different options (including their take-home TV Dinners) you have to start your meal off with their sweet and savory Bacon Candy which is covered in brown sugar, crushed red pepper chili flakes and pepper! - Good Times Burgers – That’s right, we’re including a fast food restaurant here, and its a Colorado exclusive! Long before other fast food restaurants upgraded their bacon from thin flimsy pieces of after thought bacon, Good Times has been serving up their classics such as their Big Daddy Bacon Cheeseburger with thick delicious bacon and they continue to do so, even adding breakfast burritos where you can enjoy their bacon with green chili!
