Darius Rucker Goes Above and Beyond

One of Darius Rucker’s biggest fans, who happened to be a NY firefighter, recently passed away. He loved his music so much, he would take his kids to his shows and even named one after the Hootie & the Blowfish singer! Darius actually remembers meeting the family at one of his shows and in an effort to offer his condolences, contacted the family and the fire department he worked at. The group all gathered to sing one of Lloyd’s favorite Rucker songs, “Wagon Wheel,” and Darius sang right along with them in an amazing and unforgettable jam session.

Garth Brooks Announces Tour

The legend himself, Garth Brooks, just announced he has added a new July date to his record-breaking Garth Brooks Stadium Tour. He says he is now planning a return to Salt Lake City, Utah, on July 17. The show will mark Brooks’ first show there in 10 years, and only his second back after COVID-19 shut down everything. Other upcoming shows for the legend include an appearance at, of course, Cheyenne Frontier Days on July 23, a Stadium Tour stop at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati on September 18, and another at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte September 25. Tickets for the Utah show go on sale at Ticketmaster.com May 6th at 10 am!

Tim and Faith’s Daughter Shares Her Tribute

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s oldest daughter, Gracie, recently turned to social media to show off her brand new tattoo that pays homage to her parents and her country roots. The family of five are close, and although she’s far away from home pursuing her acting career in L.A., Gracie recently found a way to keep “home” close to her. The 23-year-old posted a picture of a new tattoo on Monday, April 26th, which features a dainty cowboy boot with the letters T and F on her left forearm. The boot also sports a magnolia flower, to represent Louisiana and Mississippi, and an iris, to represent Tennessee.

Justin Moore’s New Tunes

Justin Moore joined the show this morning to talk about his brand new album, “Straight Out of the Country,” released April 23rd. The new album features 8 new songs ranging from inspiring songs of hope, to sentimental tunes about family, to clever breakup songs. He talked a bit about his current hit, “We Didn’t Have Much,” saying, “I really thought this song spoke to the beauty in that simplicity. I was literally borrowing eggs from my friend who has chickens, and just things like that that sound so cliché, but were really happening, at least for me and my family. There was kind of a beauty in that and I thought this song represented that.”
