5pm sunsets are back in Denver!

Jan 16, 2024, 8:54 AM

Denver – After 3 frigid sub-zero temperature January days reminding us we are very much in Winter, some warming news arrives as 5pm sunsets are back in Denver, Colorado.

Almost every day the sun will continue to set almost a minute later and by March 8th, we will make it to 6pm sunsets! (and that will only last 2 days, because on March 10th daylight saving time will result in us “Spring”ing forward an hour to 7:02pm sunsets)

Denver’s sunsets will peak June 25th through June 28th when the sun will set at 8:32pm.

On the other side of the spectrum, we are just a few days away from the sun rising earlier beginning on January 20th when the sunrise, which peaked at 7:18am, will begin setting earlier and earlier.
