If you’ve yet to see a professional drone show, you have to put it on your to-do list. The technology is mind blowing, and you’ll have plenty of chances in Denver this holiday season.

Mile High Drone Shows will happen for 41 nights from Friday, Nov. 21, to Wednesday, Dec. 31.

The 11-minute shows will start at 7 p.m. and be visible for free, west of downtown Denver, with the best viewing areas being from Tivoli Quad at Auraria Campus and Sculpture Park at the Denver Performing Arts Complex.

The shows, that first came to Denver last year, will feature 200 more drones this year for a total of 600 and have been expanded in size and height, reaching 500 feet in the air and 500-feet wide.

Denver-based Brightflight Drone Shows designed the show to feature holiday themed animations, Denver icons, winter moments and mountain activities.

The drone shows are part of Visit Denver’s Mile High Holidays program, which also includes Zoo Lights, Blossoms of Light, Denver Christkindlmarket, Mile High Tree and Denver Center for the Performing Arts’ holiday shows.
